GRANTED PROJECTS

We have been involved in the following projects:


H2020 Path2Integrity

Path2Integrity received funding during 3 years until 30th June 2022 from the EU Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, with eight partners from five EU member states and experts from Mexico, Canada, Zambia and Taiwan, Austria and Germany. Path2Integrity’s aim was to develop formal and informal Research Integrity training material. We have been responsible for the training center (lead of WP5) and for equality issues.


H2020 DivAirCity

DivAirCity is a 4-year project, funded by the European Commission under the H2020 programme, within the scope of the Sustainable Development Goals, valuing diversity and social inclusion to achieve innovative, creative, culture- driven, green and carbon neutral urban society. The Ethics, privacy and security data management requirements have been drafted under our leadership (lead of Task 2.3).


H2020 ALLINTERACT

A project selected and funded under H2020 program (SwafS-20-2018-2019: Building the SwafS knowledge base). From October 2020 to May 2023, this project will aim, on the one hand, to create new knowledge about how to transform potential citizen participation in science into actual engagement in scientific research, and on the other hand, to unveil new ways to engage societal actors, including young citizens and groups that have traditionally been excluded from science. Member of the Advisory Board.


H2020 IMPACT EdTech

IMPACT EdTech is a €5.5M programme co-funded by the European Commission to boost innovation in education throughout Europe. We will be identifying, selecting and accelerating the most disruptive EdTech solutions from April 2020 to July 2022 via three open calls. Member of the Ethics Committee.


WERTE

Ein OnlineTool zur Förderung guter wissenschaftlicher Praxis und forschungsethischer Handlungen in angewandter Forschung
WERTE is a project funded by the European Social Fund and supported by Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst. It supports small and medium-sized enterprises in knowledge transfer and promotes the development of a collaborative economy. Member of the Advisory Board.


Horizon Europe iRISE

The project will receive funding for 3 years as of May 2023. We propose to provide theoretical and empirical evidence of the effectiveness of specific interventions, and a framework for a robust, evidence-based road map for the development, assessment and implementation of interventions intended to improve reproducibility. MIK is lead of WP3 Interface of reproducibility and research culture and support to the project coordinator.

European Shareholders Demand Gender Equality

The European Commission awarded from 2014 – 2016 a consortium of organisations, including djb as applicant, EWLA, its national women lawyers associations partners as well as others, a contract to undertake the project "Women Shareholders Demand Gender Equality". Coordinator for Spain.


Strengthening Women’s Participation in Kosovar Politics

From November 2018 until December 2022, we worked together with Kosova Women's Network (KWN), Organisation of Persons with Muscular Dystrophy of Kosovo (OPMDK), Ruka Ruci (RR) and the European Women Lawyers Association (EWLA) towards increasing women’s participation in politics and decision-making at both local and central levels.


Strengthening the specialised justice system against violence against women (SNEJ) in Peru

This project was funded by the EU and GIZ and included the mapping of good practices presented and discussed with the Peruvian entities that make up the SNEJ (Judiciary, Prosecutor's Office, National Police, Ministry of Women, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of the Interior) as well as the Ombudsman's Office, with a dissemination event of successful experiences in hybrid format (face-to-face and virtual) in Lima on 14-15 November 2022.


FULFIL

This 2-years-project kicked-off in November 2022. The project focuses on the application of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights to protect migrant women from violence. We represent one of 3 consultants (on behalf of European Women Lawyers Association) in this project.
